"The Collective" is a story I'm pretty proud of. In fact, I think I'm going to expand the idea. There's already something in the works along the lines of a "Collective, part 2" but I only have pieces of the new concept so far. Still, I have enough to know it's going to top the original story, on sale now exclusively throuugh Amazon Kindle.

During my years of research on these topics, I couldn't stop running into examples of suppressed evidence. The "Blue Room" at Wright-Patterson; the various items associated with the Kennedy case; the burned files and films destroyed by Richard Helms and James Angleton in the wake of MK-Ultra. If you've heard reference to the "rabbit hole" or traveling through the "looking glass," that's exactly what these studies are. You travel into a world that feels like something from movies and TV shows, but in fact is being touted as true by any kind of "trustworthy" source you can think of: representatives of all branches and ranks in the nilitary, professional pilots (commercial or test), police, members of Congress, former Presidents, not to mention civilians with impeccable records of truthfulness. Basically, if these testimonies are as accurate as they seem, anything you've seen in science fiction films is tame compared to what truly exists.

The UFO world isn't the only maze of deception; the murder of a single man almost rivals the mystery of the "airships." That's, of course, the assassination of JFK. The murder of his brother, Bobby, five years later, is another colorful event full of controversy, as is the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. There's a bit more fodder for thought in the RFK hit, but the figure of James Earle Ray offers it's fair share of unanswered questions.

Meanwhile, "A Yard Sale in Conspiracy Heaven" has it's huorous element, which "The Collective" doesn't. It furthers the theme of "The Collective," but is very much it's own story.

Excerpt from "The Collective":
Our names aren’t important. Most of them you’ve never heard mentioned publicly anyway, or read in print. We aren’t exactly a club in the strictest sense of the word, and yet I can’t think of a better way to define us. We’re aware of each other only when a specific item for trade has been put into play, and only then via third-party representatives of the Collective initiating or responding to an offer; there are no meetings, annual conventions, or newsletters. Items in question are those which would either prove or disprove a popular conspiracy theory.

Excerpt from "A Yard Sale in Conspiracy Heaven":
I was disinclined to answer the phone that Saturday morning in the first place, let alone after Dewey started babbling at me through my answering machine. “You gotta see this stuff, man! He says its hoax material, but I don’t know … come on, man, pick up!”

Half of this message I missed, since my head was under a pillow, still trying to chase a dream quickly turning into vapor.

“Serious, man! I need like two hundred bucks, and I can take everything! I only have fifty. Please, pick up the phone, man! I don’t think this guy really knows what he’s selling!”
